In short: Very scenic in the grounds of Stowe and finish in town square adds to the feeling you run an important race, makes you feel good after the pain!

In short: good race
In full: A good all round race - a few hills, a few down hills, good scenery, well organised and friendly.

Potential for a PB bearing in mind the final stretch is mostly down. Only problem is you need to get out first as the first mile or so is on a narrow path and I found it got a little congested.

Enjoyable race and a good way to spend a Sunday morning

In short: A quick course as the second half is downhill with the wind behind!
In full: Is it actually 10k long? Mile markers were all over the place, but overall it seemed a bit short.

In short: Picturesque but very undulating...
In full: Very up-and-down, with first 3K mainly up, but gradients not too bad. The middle section through Stowe Park is very picturesque. Organisation was friendly and good. Only cricitism: the kilometre markers were pretty inaccurate in the middle of the race, and they said 'miles' on them, which confused some people.

In short: A nice way to spend your Sunday morning
In full: Uphill at the start. A bit more uphill a little later, and some more uphill just when you think it's time to go downhill. Well, it felt like that anyway. The start and finish was the same place and the course was out and back, I must have missed the downhill parts. Don't let that put you off though, in my view the gradients were quite shallow (though briefly with the odd exception).

PB potential limited by the narrow pathways which were quite crowded on the outbound leg. If you're aiming to get a new PB, get to the front for the start.

Scenery at Stowe was rather pleasant, and the surface was a mixture of road, path and track.

The only real disappointment for me was that though for your £10 (on the day) and you get a certificate and a medal, the medal doesn't say what the race was. Hopefully the organisers wil take not and print the race name on the ribbon for next year.

All in all, I'm pleased I entered this one, and I plan to be there next year too.

In short: A very enjoyable Sunday run...
In full: The most local 10K to me and proud of it. I enetered on the day and was impressed with the organisation, well done! Will be back for more next year...

In short: Great first race
In full: It is a splendid run with lots of interesting buildings/ monuments along the roads/ paths to take away some of your attention whilst you are going through some of those grinding moments. One thing it seemed like it was all up hill! we managed to end up in the same place though
