In short: Almost there
In full: A nice course, with great views. Only let downs were: 1)Started early, and there was very little warning that it was about to start. 2)Narrow paths in the first 2 - 3 kms. Surely more of this stretch could have been on the adjacent road?
Overall, well organised, and gained a PB, so happy with that..

In short: Good, quite challenging and scenic course, but feels feels short!
In full: Did this for the first time on Sunday and enjoyed the course despite more gradients than I expected. Set a PB for the year bettering my previous week's time by over a minute which got me wondering about the length....and I have to say that first/last Km between the town and start of the park did feel short. But sod it - its a PB so I'll take it for now!

I also got caught out at the start and had to run out of the pub to join the back of the group just as the hooter sounded. Not ideal but I would do it again.

In short: Enjoyed the landscaped gardens of Stowe.
In full: My own perspective is mostly positive. Nice scenery and a challenging course. I like this race despite some of its problems. I'll be back.

In short: Oh Dear
In full: I did this race last year, but I won't come back again. Why?

The main reason is they have committed the cardinal sin. Anyone reading this will be expecting to run (or have ran) a 10K race. Well per my Garmin, the course is short by over 600m. I was well inside a PB time so I should have carried running a bit further.

Of course all this is moot if you weren't on the start line at 9.55. Now I've moaned in the past when the start is delayed on a cold day, but come on! People are often driving quite a way for these things, and the least the organisers can do is wait until 10am before they start it. Good job there wasn't much of a queue in the toilets or I'd have missed the start too.

And what was it with the marshalls? I didn't hear a word of encouragement from one of them all morning.

Finally, there was the Mars Bar at the end. I heard someone describe it as "the most expensive Mars Bar [they'd] ever had". Well said sir.

Well, enough negatives, now for the positives: the scenery was nice.

In short: Starting 5 minutes early, narrow paths, and ?short? measurement spoiled what should be a good event

In short: Nice course but shame about the path at the start of the course. Made it hard to get past other runners.
