In short: Challenging undulating course on remarkably quiet lanes In full: If you want good tarmac to run on, you generally have to share it with cars. The trade off at Stebbing was empty roads, but not the greatest of surfaces. The atmosphere in the was village wonderful, and the T shirt at the end was my favourite ever. The only downer would have been if there had been heavy rain, as I'm 100% convinced that I'd never have got my car out of the car park. Date of review: November 14, 2007

In short: Excellent race - parking still an issue In full: This is an excellent local race so don't be put off by the parking problems but try and liftshare with someone with a 4x4 if you don't want to damage your car getting parked. Date of review: November 12, 2007

In short: Windswept In full: Very enjoyable race - nice country lanes - well marshalled and well-manned water stations (thanks - it must have been cold standing around handing out and picking up cups). Nicely undulating - but was open and windswept in some sections. 1 mins remberence silence at start - long sleeved top at the finish. Date of review: November 12, 2007

In short: Excellent race for my first 10 Miler & great long-sleeved shirt In full: Well organised, friendly marshalls taking time to clap everyone and to encourage. 2 minor gripes - v. crowded in the village for the first loop, therefore difficult to pass anyone & if it had rained I'd never have got out of the top car park in a low slung car, grounded it twice as it was. Otherwise excellent - well done. Back next year maybe. Date of review: November 12, 2007
