In short: Great Race one to do before you die!! In full: This race is great, the organisation is perfect. The organisation is brilliant. The tea and cakes in the school hall was brilliant - best cup of tea ward (second to the Benfleet 15 as i got a free top-up there) nice t-shirt and lovely fun presentation. Next year the V40 will go to me and not that 56year old terminator!! I wish! Date of review: November 15, 2009

In short: A good course - somewhat challenging in the last half. In full: My first 10 mile race, having done several 10ks in the past. Really enjoyed the course, a long flat through miles two to five. Then a couple of hills which put up the heart rate! The last half mile was a challange on tired legs. I acheived my target time, so was very pleased. Lovely scenery. Could have done with a bottle of water and a snack bar at the end - no refreshment on offer for the runners, only a long sleeve T-shirt (which was nice enough). Date of review: November 10, 2009

In short: Very friendly organisers and good local support 3 times through High St. Pleasant countryside mainly flat, mainly traffic- free lanes. Rather busy dodging traffic and parked cars down final stretch. Enjoyed my first 10 mile event after many 10ks, Date of review: November 9, 2009
