In short: can't believe how lucky we were with the weather. Was trying to sleep in the car at 3.30am and the wind was howling like Ozzy Osborne!

In short: Very well organised race in beautiful location everything seemd to go like clockwork
In full: Gower is a great location for this type of run along the coastline. I enjoyed every minute of the 72 on the extended 10K course. Will be back next year to try the half. Well done to everyone concerned! My only slight niggle was the outside showers,no problem for me as our accommodation was close by but felt sorry for those runners who might have had a long journey home without a good washdown. There was a long cue for the 4 or 5 cubicles as I left Im sure most would pay a little extra for a decent shower and changing facilities. Shame the main campsite showers & changing were not available.
Endurancelife have obviously taken a lot of time & effort to make the event run as smooth as possible achieving a polished professional outcome in wet, muddy winter weather conditions.

In short: Great race - bad weather :)
In full: This race has fantastic scenery, fun people and really good organisation. The weather was decent for December - not so bad that you can't see the cliffs, surf and hills and not so good that it felt easy! I did the half and was so pleased to get in before the heavy rain started though :)

In short: Fantastic challenge, amazing location, wonderful staff!
In full: Wow, what a race! The registration the night before was friendly and slick.

The scenery was breath-taking at times, which was a shame, because I needed that breath to help get me up that last killer hill! It was so amazing, we went out the next day to enjoy the view.

Because of the incredible amount of rain in the weeks before, there was plenty of mud and boggy fun. The path that was a running stream offered a chance to cool tired feet. The hills themselves weren't such a departure from my normal training, but add in the wind and soft going, and the result was the most challenging course I've done in years.

36 hours later, I'm still all smiles. Thanks, Endurancelife!

In short: Gower Half:Hard as nails - but ready for more!
In full: Second year for me running this one. Much improved organisation - friendly atmosphere and a great course, with lots of mud, crazy hills, and stunning views!
Its one of those where after 3 miles or so, you get flashbacks about how tough the rest is gonna be! Major respect to the Full Marathon folk, specially as it ended up being 28 miles -just looking at the map for that one made my legs tired! Well done EL!
