In short: Well organised, great Race HQ
In full: The perfect weather conditions and gently undulating but not too tricky course lead to PB territory. The only oraganisational "hitch" in my opinion was the start - where were the time zones at the track before we were led out to the start line? This wasn't an issue but made the start seem less organised than it could have been. The rest of the orgainisation was superb. I would like to see chip times as well as gun times though.

In short: The weather was wonderful and that makes a lot of differnce
In full: The weather makes a lot of difference to this event. Lots of autumn colour and almost constant sunshine; the wind blew once for 30 seconds. Compared to 2005 its a different universe!
It's friendly and efficiently organised. This year we had "Chip timing" but this was a disappointment. I thought that the point of this was to give runners a time from actual start to finish. But we only had a time from "gun to finish". I'm going by my watch which made it 1:59:51!! (My first sub 2 hours and it was my birthday!). I hope to be there next year.
Thank you to all the marshalls and organisers.

In short: Up and down we go
In full: Lots of ups and downs in this one although not too big so doesn't kill ya. The lake was nice enough to run around although the public got in the way at times, as did the geese! Track finish is good, bus to and from carpark is good even though I got train so had to walk 15 mins to and from the carpark. Probably do it again as not too difficult to get to from London.

In short: Hamstring, Undulations, Nice weather , Lovely friendly marshalls.
In full: Well l came back to do this run feeling a lot more confident about the distance unlike last year and felt l could do a better time , however l have had a very sore hamstring for the last few weeks and was praying l would get around the course in one piece and to meet Ian the Spartan l ran in with last year. The weather was great , the marshalls were very very encouraging best lot l have ever met so thank you to them and l did see Ian he was one of the marshalls. The first half of my race was good up to mile 6 and then the leg started to get a bit gippy but l did get around albeit slower than l would of liked BUT get round l did and added another medal to my collection, goody bag was a nice touch too. Will l do this race next year ? who knows ( probably ). It is well organised and friendly.
