In short: Another lovely Alchester race...can't wait for next year!
In full: A PB for me so I have no complaints...loved it. As always excellently run by Alchester. Really friendly. Lots of toilets. Top marks!!

In short: Flat course but windy this year
In full: Great flat course with strong PB potential. 420 runners with a 31 min winner and 80 people finishing sub-40 mins - but not me thanks to the headwind on the airfield between 7 and 8km. Should have pushed harder. As noted below some of the distance markers were a little out - 6K was about 400m too long - but my GPS watch gave correct splits and had the finish bang on 10K. Marshals were very helpful.

In short: Flat, friendly, great organisation
In full: Enjoyable race. Not mega-scenic, but as "scenic" usually involves hills, no complaints... I like open spaces, so did not mind the airfield. Apart from the headwind. Which was, however, partly made up for by a nice long stretch of tailwind. Organisation was great, showers definitely a bonus, and the atmosphere overall very friendly. Will happily do again.

In short: Very good small club race, well organised, will be back again next year
In full: One slight problem with the mailing of envelopes, all sorted via email and a nice apology from the RD on the day. Thanks all.

In short: Could be fast, but on a windy day like today no chance
In full: echo the below, very windy today, so anyone who has pbd must have either under performed before, not raced 10k very often, or simply have run amazingly!

Mile markers on the air field were ridiculously out for 5k and 6k.

5k was a bit short, but then 6k was 1/4 km too long, giving an epic long km time!

A nice little race though, still almost 400runners there though.

In short: Excellent - top run
In full: Absolutely enjoyed this one. Fast; PB thanks very much. Friendly organisation - everyone really great. Great location, car parking, changing, hot showers, loos, refreshments...etc etc. Good to get a t-shirt rather than a medal. Thanks - will definitely do again.
