In short: Good race. Good organisation. The keyring was a joke though.

In short: My fastest time of the year 3 years in a row - I'll be back to try a 4th
In full: A good end of year race that has always went well for me, and others I who know. I would advise others to give it a go. The only problem is that word is getting round that this is a good course for recording a good time, and thus, it fills up early.

The only slight undulation of any significance is as the road rises to go over the M40. This is no problem on the way out, but on the return even though it is very small it feels hard because it is at 9.5k. I finished 23rd this year and I found this little rise tiring. But, it is so small really that it does not make any significant difference to your time; and, you get the down hill the other side to the finish.

In short: My First Ever Race! - quick, flat and cold!
In full: This was a great first race, not too interesting scenery and was bitterly cold but good fun. Not sure about the keyring momento though that had a sticker saying 'Andy Reading 2006' on it. Will be back next year though.

In short: Flat course clearly laid out and traffic free
In full: A good race to try and get a PB. Managed to beat mine so well happy.
Parking and race course marshalls did a good job. Felt sorry for the ladies with the bags as everyone seemed to have one, but by the time I got back they had it all sorted nicely.
The momento was strange, a pen or something with the race name would have been nice.

In short: I enjoyed the event and I plan to go back to set a PB next year.
In full: This was my first time here and I was psuedo-excited about the exposed course being a challenge in the forecasted strong winds and horizontal rain, but it turn out pretty nice which made it more enjoyable than I expected. Great organisation, friendly marshalls, clean and large changing facilities, plenty of parking and the chocolate muffins were a temptation.

In short: Enjoyable, fast run - especially liked the airfield, The keyring? With its sticky label? Less said, the better.

In short: the airfield (4K of it) is a killer and the bacon sarnies were too expensive, but otherwise a good race.
In full: A very flat course, so good for PBs. I was feeling really rough but still managed to do well. Unfortunately the scenery is uninspiring and the 4K stretch round the very windy airfield seemed like it would never end! I did think £1.50 was a bit steep for a bacon sarnie (as I erroneously thought they'd be free for runners), but maybe I'm just feeling bitter because my husband spent our money on his before I finished the race !!!

In short: Fast course and well organized.
In full: Largely flat and traffic-free, so who cares if it's not especially scenic? The December weather is likely to be the main obstacle to getting a pb, but even that was fairly kind this year.
