In short: Great race, pretty hilly but not too tough. Not exactly PB potential but snot too slow
In full: This was a very scenic race. It was fairly hilly but they were not killers. The hills were quite long and consistent which made them easier, in my opinon, than the shorter really steep ones.

I liked it and would def do again. The only slight problem was the congestion at te start and the fact that if you started at the back you would lose some time off your official time but it depends how important that is to you.

In short: The scenery make the challange of the hills worth the effort.
In full: The hills are challenging but the views worth the effort. The marshalling was excellent. The start was rather chaotic. Nice to go to a race where there isn't a huge queue for the loos!

In short: One of the best finishing strech of any race I've done.
In full: That view as you come over the crest of the last rise of the switchback and can see your way to the line - all downhill - never fails to inspire.

I agree that the start could be improved - wouldn't it be possible to start the race on the service road inside the racecourse?

In short: challengine 10-miler with a fast finish
In full: Nice race in nice scenery, and not too crowded. My only gripe was no medal for all finishers. My 2 year old daughter was disappointed.

In short: Very enjoyable well organised race
In full: Great organisation, although the start was a bit messy, (suggest that people are directed to gather in the downs car park and file onto the road start). Manage the uphills and there is the potential of a quickish race in there with the downhill bits
