In short: great race - but terrible conditions
In full: this is always a great race but this year's weather conditions made the outgoing 5 miles very hard - wonderful on way back as wind was behind looking forward to next year

In short: Well Organised, Good Sized Race, With PB Potential
In full: Great out-and-back course (North Shore Car Park to Windmill and back), with sea in view most of the time.
Flat as pancake, and mainly tarmac/concrete, so 100% PB Potential.
Few spectators due to atrocious weather, but marshals friendly/encouraging.
Very well organised, and novel experience to get changed in a fire station hall!
Overall, shame about the strong wind/rain, which kiboshed PB on the day, but will deffo come back another year...

In short: Even foul weather couldn't spoil great organisation, great facilities, value for money & friendly atmosphere
In full: Big thank you to everyone involved, particularly the marshalls who managed to stay cheerful and supportive despite 2 hrs standing in foul weather. Given the wind and rain, I was glad of the flat out and back course, made a really tough race a bit easier mentally. Sand on the pavement and wind probably an annual hazard, but don't let this put you off. Chocolate in goody bag, pie and peas at the end and great organisation - no wonder this race sold out. I'll be getting my application in in good time next year.

In short: Terrible weather conditions but still a great race
In full: 5 miles into the howling wind and rain could have put me off this race for life but the return leg made it all worthwhile. A huge thank you to the marshalls - the only thing crazier than running in those conditions is standing still for a couple of hours in those conditions! Good organisation, results available very quickly after the race, and with pie and peas included in the entry fee, really good value for money. Loved all the chocolate in the goody bag but giving us the bag beforehand meant I had to battle very hard not to scoff the Mars bar before the race began! I'll be back next year but I hope the wind stays away.
