In short: Everything you could want from a race...
In full: A well organised run, road closed to traffic, plenty of marshalls, good support at beginning/end, long downhill finish.....great! 2000 entry so there is always someone to follow or sit down and cry your eyes out with :)

In short: My personal favourite
In full: Fantastic scenery, the sun shone, no traffic and a mildly challenging course. What more could one ask for ?

In this case, perhaps a little less sun. I wish I'd taken my shades.

Beats all those city centre races out of sight.

In short: Sunshine with a bit of cooling breeze, nice scenery, no traffic, plenty of people running but not so many that they get in your way and a half decent t-shirt at the end. Can't be bad.

In short: A mild challenging run in the countryside!
In full: Second visit to Worksop - conditions a bit better this year without the rain though was hoping it would be more cooler! Having run most of the year on the flat, I forgot how much more challenging this course was with the hill in the first mile and then the undulations for the rest of the course! But that's what make this course interesting as you try to pace yourself as well as enjoying the great scenes of Clumber Park and the countryside if you can!

In short: Doubt I could have picked a better place for my first half-marathon
In full: As this was my first ever race, let alone half-marathon, I found the organisation and set-up to be fine, I never felt lost or confused.

The course was well marshalled and I found the drinks and sponge stations to be good.

As for PB potential, well it was for me (first race!), but I imagine there are easier courses out there.

Will I do it again? If I keep up running then definately.

In short: Memorable race - both fun and hard!!!
In full: First time for this half marathon (second one in total) and quite hard going - I wasn't expecting those hills!! The scenery was great and the routse was quite fun. It's a shame there weren't more verbal supporters round the course and the drink and sponge stations were far and few, especially on such a hot day! Overall it was a good race and very well organised. I'll have to see how the hill training goes as to whether I'll do it next year though!

In short: Same course as last year but seemed hillier - must have been the warm weather!

In short: Excellent half marathon, the best I have run.
In full: This is the fifth half marathon I have run this year and by far the best. There was no traffic anywhere en-route, only mildly undulating hills, lovely scenery and brilliant weather for the time of year. Only gripe was the drink stops, not enough staff and plastic cups, staff who were there worked very hard to keep up.
