In short: Well organised, scenic run
In full: I've done this race for the last 4 years. I've always been impressed with the helpful, supportive and friendly staff. The vast majority of the run is round Clumber Park which offers a really scenic backdrop. The race is in October so the weather is at best a mixed bag (it has bucketed it down for 2 of the last 4 years). Some stretches of the race don't have many spectators cheering you on. After hitting the wall at 10 miles this year I could have done with the pick me up, this would have given!! But all in all a great day out.

In short: Excellent local race.
In full: Agree with previous comments about the organisation - couldn't have asked for any better!

Shame about the weather but it could have been worse.

Decent hill to begin with for the first mile or so and then nicely undulating for the majority of the course before coming back down the hill, which makes for a nice fast finish.

Thanks to everyone involved in the organistaion of the race... I'll be back again next year!

In short: very scenic, quite challenging start but brilliant downhill last mile or so. By far the most enjoyable run i've done and will definately be back next year!

In short: Great race
In full: Well organised and a lovely course. Though the word undulating was invented to describe this course! I managed a pb! Tshirt with my name on is a nice touch but I would have liked a medal, if only because I got a pb!!!
Marshalls excellent. Crowd support at start and finish very good. Great atmosphere around the course and some very friendly runners on the way round. Thank you again to the lady who helped me out at the end when I was a bit ill!

In short: Well organised and would have been fantastic scenery had we been able to see it through the torrential rain! Will be back.
In full: despite the torrential rain a very well organised event (althoug i'm sure i didn't indicate 'medium' on my entry for the t-shirt). Not really a hilly course for a sheffield runner but definately undulating but if you can save a little energy for the last couple of miles you're on to a winner in terms of attacking a PB. Found judging pace for first couple of miles hard due to constant climb but overall a great course that i hope will have a few more supporters if the weather holds next year to do this well run event justice. Only done Sheffield and Leeds halfs before but will def. see you next year.
