In short: Well worth doing
In full: Good organisation with encouraging marshalls - nice stadium finish, decent t-shirt, nice route on the canal and in the country - hills add a challenge - it's my hometown half and I really enjoy it.

In short: A bit of prior hill training and your sorted!
In full: Enjoyed this run, hills are over pretty quickly, very scenic, water stations at good intervals, will definitely be doing it again next year hopefully beating my time!

In short: Well done
In full: Great race this. The special things that make this a good race include the email pre and post race, the great support from the marshalls who are clearly 'in the know' with running, the chap on the second hill with the mascochistic smile and of course those hills!!

Well done one and all, great effort.

In short: Great race
In full: My first time for this one and I am really pleased I came - and I will be encouraging others in my club to join me next year.
It was a good route, the hills really were killers but the downhill sections do compensate. The wind was a bit cruel but ir probably helped in the latter half.
Great organisation supported by the good start / finish location.

In short: Extremely well organised.
In full: This really is a picturesque course. Yes the hills are steep and therefore challenging but with the compensating downhills and the remainder pretty flat a number of people achieved PBs. Well organised and well marshalled, I shall definitely be back next year.

In short: Excellent views, oganisation and two great hills! :-)
In full: Well done to all involved! My first time at this particular event and I must say I was impressed! The run was broken up nicely with a good mix of road running and a nice run along the Grantham canal along with excellent views of the Lincolnshire countryside. The two hills were a good challenge on miles six and ten - made all the more pleasurable by the signs reminding us that Lincoln was 'flat'. The stadium finish was a nice touch as well - in fact this is the first stadium finish I have done. With the hills and sometimes a quite strong headwind I was still able to finish this one thirteen minutes faster than my previous half - happy days! The only small gripe I would have was the long wait at the end for the tee-shirt. It might be a good idea to include the shirt in the goody bag as at other events I have been to. Perhaps a finisher’s medal would be nice to? All in all though I would and will recommend this event to all! Well done - see you in 2010!

In short: great scenery, interesting route - good mix of roads and paths
In full: The two hills make it even more interesting - high for Lincolnshire but no problem compared with many places. The lap and half on the athletics track at the end kept it competitive right to the line.

In short: Superb organisation, and the most scenic and rewarding of routes
In full: This was brilliant - loved the little roadside boards to get you fired up as you went round - helped you focus on the two hills that's for sure. A great route that naturally splits into segments to help you manage your race. I knocked fifteen minutes off my half marathon time here: that's down to a number of things but this route is certainly quick, despite the two sharp hills. Defiinitely do it again and a special word to the excellent marshalls who looked after us all the way round. Faultless.
