In short: A very friendly and well-organised race.
In full: When I saw the location, the organisation and the whole friendly atmosphere of this race, I started to feel really guilty: I’d be pretty miffed if it was the men who were allowed to run in such a nice race and I couldn’t! Anyway, I’ve decided to stop feeling guilty and just be thankful that I am female and am allowed to run in this ladies-only race as it was great. I will look forward to entering again.

In short: Just hilly enough to be interesting.
In full: This was a really great race. The marshals were friendly and encouraging and it was well organised. The only barrier to a really good time was the 800m off-road section, but it wasn't too bad and I still managed a very respectable time for me. I didn't find any of the hills really problematic as none of them were very long or steep. I would definitely do this race again and would recommend it unreservedly.

In short: Apart from the shock of the hills it was a good race
In full: The goody bag was excellent, and I got a spot prize! The hills were hard and I think I counted 4 within the first 5km which I found tough. Marshalling and organisation good and by the time the race had started the rain had stopped and it was great to run in.

In short: really friendly event in scenic countryside
In full: undulating course in pretty country lanes. The track section was a bit muddy. Hill at 7km seemed never ending. Marshalls all very supportive, many thanks for the encouragement. Great cakes and a fab goody bag. Glad the rain held off.
