In short: This has been organised better in the past
In full: A good day, a good run, a PB didn't think much at the finish line very caotic and disorganised. High light of the day bumping into an olympic athlete.

In short: OK - No major gripes
In full: Definite PB potential so long as you don't start too near the back. I missed mine due to be completely unfit but really with perfect weather and a flat course this should have been nailed on.
Agree t-shirts are a bit naff but can't understand moans about parking - seemed no problem to me.
Marshalls supportive around course but no other support and roads weren't completely traffic free.

I'll be back next year for a definite PB !

In short: I like to run, outloud I'll say, I think I'll run the Woodhall 10k
In full: A well organised race, plenty of people, friendly marshalls, good water stations, good finish. And a rockin' PB to finish with. Yay!

In short: Great 'running' course, well marshalled, chip timing is a benefit, good support, probably a big enough field now, good start time, fast results service, a good race.
In full: Overall a very good race to do which has grown over the years. Possibly the capacity is at or close to the limit now? Like many races the start is tricky because of congestion as people look for space ...... however this is a village event not a city one and the course is a winner once you get going!!
There is slight concern over the distance marking of the first & last couple of Ks and overall distance, interesting that there was no visible 'start' mark painted on the road like all other K marks.
I guess some additional signage might benefit all - water station coming (try higher head height signs), at the finish, tee-shirt here by size, chips here, water here etc just makes a small area less random/hap-hazard.
Marshalls were very good, friendly, encouraging (AND WELL DONE to the Gentleman on his mobility scooter collecting used cups at the 2nd water station, how nice for him to be involved too).
So well done Woodhall, the devil is in the detail but keep up the good work, every little improvement will help the continued success.

PS - time for the half marathon again please!!
:-)

In short: PB but kilometer markers are out.
In full: At 9k the time was 36:08 so I put in a much faster kilometre then average to finish and came in at 40:10. It was a pb but I should have gone under 40mins. I can see the km markers are spray painted on the road but please check them again before next year. I also entered through runners world as a club member, but was down as unattached on the results. I do not know who was at fault for that.

In short: Lovely fast run along country roads
In full: No real problems here.
Sure the parking was further away than last year, but a gap in the hedge next to the caravans took you straight to a toilet block and within a minute or two walk of the finish line.
Made sure I got closer to the front this year to avoid getting hemmed in and it helped a lot :)
