In short: Very well organised, a bit pricey, very scenic but definitely not PB potential
In full: My reason for doing this race was to get a PB for entry into the NY Marathon. Although it is not 'hilly' it is definitely sufficiently undulating to prevent a PB. Other than that, really enjoyed the day. Thankyou!

In short: First time I have run the event. Was my 12th attempt at the distance and thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait for next years event and comes at ideal time for anybody that misses out on doing London

In short: very well organised and marshalled
In full: found the narrow path at the mile 12.5 very frustrating reducing running in 1 line, so no good for last mile sprinting

In short: Well organised and enjoyable day out. Worth coming up from Cornwall
In full: Might want to check the distances of both races, as three of our club runners with Garmins all recorded over the distance. Good Marshalls and special thanks to the Sea Cadets for the efficent handling of kit. Nice villages to run through. One small hill and a couple of slopes made it a nice change from the Launceston and Truro halfs.

In short: Great scenary, nice size field for bth 1/2 and full, Good support thrpoughout. Mnor criticism on visibility of mile markers,
In full: Overall very good organisation with water and sponges and sports drink at about 17 miles. Good support along course. Minor criticism that the mile markers were not that visible especially in the early miles, lamp posts would be great! Hills did hurt a bit but ony 10 mins worse than my pb.

In short: I love this race!
In full: I think this race is still excellent. Second time I've ran it and I think it gets better every year... It's also nice to know that the entrance fee goes towards worthwhile local charities such as the Shakespeare Hospice and Stratford Young Carers! It's all about keeping it real! ;)

In short: Did the marathon in a pb which given the nature of the course and weather was good. This was pricey and no goody bag or t-shirt. Well organised though and good friendly marshalling, water and spnge stations.

In short: Fantastic for a first time marathon. Friendly people and very well organised.
In full: Much more enjoyable than running in a city. The course was good and only the 1 hill, although it felt a bit steeper on lap 2! In my first marathon I got around in a shade under 3 hours 17 mins, and this was aided no end by the good support, the frequent water stations, and the favourable weather. I wasn't too keen on the Greenway, especially the second time around, as the scenary never changed and so it almost felt like I was jogging on the spot. The finish was great and it was most uplifting to be able to see the finish from quite a long way away. thanks to everyone involved in putting on a great event.
