In short: A great run for fun on Boxing Day - fancy dress optional
In full: Muddy, hilly, great crowds and marshalls. A nice t-shirt for finishers. Only gripe was the queue to get over the stiles but didnt detract from the great atmosphere. Will be back again next year, already thinking what to dress up as....

In short: A great race!
In full: This was my first time at the Chevin Chase and I loved every minute of it. This is a fun mix of hills, changing terrain types, mud and trails! Fortunately the weather was extremely mild, leading to lots of mud and soft ground. There are a couple of very short, steep climbs which will test everyone's determination, but they do pay off with spectacular views when at the summit of the Chevin. There was a slight hold up near the end of the race as we queued to cross stiles at either ends of a field, but the atmosphere was fun as people seemed glad to be out enjoying the fresh air! Not a PB course, simply for the stop-start-stiles, but excellent value and very well organised. I will definitely run again in 2012!
