In short: Cracking race even in THAT rain! In full: Even in terribleconditions, the rce was excellently organised, especially having to change the finish at the last minute. The support was awesome, it really keeps you going, especially through 6 - 9 miles where it is tough. My home race and one I will definately do again. Welldone! Date of review: April 30, 2012

In short: Good organisation and marshaling - just a real shame about the awful weather! In full: Despite the weather, a more enjoyable race than my one previous HM. Getting the pacing right meant I didn't struggle so much with the hills and head-winds, the mud and the puddles, though they were certainly plentiful. The underpasses got to be a bit of a killer towards the end of the race and the last bit felt like the toughest slog despite being my fastest mile. A cracking job by the organisers though, and nice to get both a medal and a t-shirt for completing it. Date of review: April 30, 2012

In short: Great organised run In full: Pros - really well organised, - marshalls were awesome, stood in the miserable weather cheering runners on. - small enough event so you don't spend ages to cross the start line - plenty of parking - lots of drinking stations (and sponges - but we didn't need these in the hideous weather!) - plenty of loos
Cons - lack of mile markers, unless it was me but I only starting seeing them at mile 5 onwards - T-shirts were being handed out quite far away from the finish line so I think a lot of people would have missed these - Loos were in a soggy field= wet feet and I'd not started the race!
All in all a good race Date of review: April 29, 2012

In short: Weather was awful but loved every minute In full: As usual Bracknell was friendly and well organised, felt really sorry for the the organisers after all the hard work they put in but the weather still did not quite spoil it. Marshalls are amazing as ever as well as the scouts with their wet sponges - not sure they were really necessary this year :-)Will be back next year Date of review: April 29, 2012

In short: Wet and windy but well organised In full: I had my doubts about this race after trekking across a boggy field to use the loo at the beginning (I still don't understand the logic- wet, cold feet at the start...), but the rest of the race was really well organised. The marshals were smiley despite the awful weather, the finish was well-handled and goody bags excellent. That all made up for the tough middle 3 miles in rain and high winds! In short: Another very well organised friendly event despite the rain & wind In full: 16th Consecutive time I've run this & it grows on me every year. Faultless organisation, even with enforced wet-weather adjustments to the finish. Really friendly marshals and water-kids who showed real spirit standing in the rain. Wet & windy up Harvest Ride but took your mind off the hills. Well done again Chris Vaal & team Date of review: April 29, 2012
