In short: Excellent first-time event - very scenic, well-organised, if a little hot! Highly recommended - looking forward to next year.

In short: An excellent race with fantastic scenery
In full: One of my favourite races in a lovely part of the country. Saw two red kites (the races mascot) just before the start and one at the end. A nice change to all-road running.

In short: A lovely race on a glorious morning in The Chilterns
In full: Fantastic race in a beautiful setting. Very hot. It would be nice to do it in the rain!
It would have been useful to have a baggage drop-off even if unatended.

In short: A friendly, well organised race.
In full: Hot, good hills, well marshalled, lovely scenery and I sure saw a red kite at 4km (or it may have been a buzzard!). A great race thanks to everyone involved.
PS The RW web site said £10 on the day for affiliated runners, they charged £12

In short: The most enjoyable run I have had all year!
In full: I found this a very peaceful run which is why I enjoyed it so much. Very well organised, friendly organisers/marshalls everywhere and beautiful setting. I agree with the gentleman who said it would be nice on a muddy day in February too!
