In short: Well organised, great scenery.
In full: I'm not a big fan of off-road, but entered this one in the spirit of trying a new race every now and again. I loved it! Yes, there were a few issues with getting a large number of cars up a slippery bank, but the marshals were great and the situation was dealt with well. The village fete atmosphere at the finish made it a day out, rather than just another race, and the course itself made for a really enjoyable run. I'd definitely do it again.

In short: Lovely race in glorious countryside. Old fashioned atmosphere, so much nicer than than big city races but still a good standard. Very little traffice

In short: Lovely course, mixed terrain makes it more interesting
In full: Did this race for the second time, and ran a lot better this year. It's an atractive route, some of the off-road bits are aintersting, but none are that hard. I ran this less than 1 min slower than my road 10k PB (set a couple of weeks ago), so you can get a good time here.

Nice to see some entertainment / stalls on the common for the family, and the refreshments looked good (I didn't try them as I'd left my money in the car!).

In short: A great rural race, generally well organised and marshalled with a great course
In full: Certainly a challenging course, but one that is certainly enjoyable and rewarding with great scenery. Slight delay due to car park issues, this that would need to be looked at for next year but good organisation everywhere else.
