In short: Great race with fantastic variety of scenes and surfaces
In full: Love this race! Road, woodland trail, fields, tracks. Great scenery. Cakes and teas available throughout. Predicted rain may have put a few off but it was negligable on the day. Plenty of space to shelter before and after. Plenty of water stations too.

In short: Great course with challenging undulations and great scenery
In full: Haven't done this race before, but had heard good things. Also heard some bad things about parking from last year, but the organisers did a brilliant job and appeared to have listened and acted on the feedback they were given. Organisation was like clockwork, well signed and marshalled throughout. No goody bag, but I'd rather have the medal as a memento - so no problem! Not likely to be a PB, but not as scary as I had been led to believe, some climbs but you get the reward of great views and downhill sections. Hvae already put next years race in the diary and't wait to do it all again!

In short: An excellent multi-terrain course
In full: I last did this race in 2006 and things are much improved. It was great then but is better now. Thanks to the organisers and marshalls for a great race.

In short: A great run in the country, well organised and an interesting course.
In full: Well done to the organisers - an improvement on the car parking from last year. Well organised and I enjoyed the course which has good mix of trails, tracks and road.

In short: Scenic, hilly and thankfully dry (barring the odd puddle)
In full: Mostly off-road with some ups and downs, the race was quicker than I had expected. The chip timing was a bonus -- results were printed and pinned to a board on the common -- although you needed to allow time to pick up the chip as it wasn't included in the postal pack.

Good atmosphere, great scenery and I think I'll be back next year...

In short: Wonderful scenic race. Cup of tea at finish. Perfect!
In full: Second time I have done this 10k. Mainly off road through wonderful countryside. Couldn't work out the actual starting line but well marked otherwise. Lovely cup of tea at the finish (paid for). No goody bag this year and timing chips collected not sent out. I nearly forgot to collect mine! Well marshalled. A great race.

In short: Lovely countryside - great all terrain course
In full: I quite enjoyed the down-beat commentary from the marshall at about 8km. Better parking than last year. Really pleasant atmosphere.
