In short: Very steep hills going up but led to long easy downhills In full: Great race on road, tracks, grass, mud and down a stream (ex footpath) over stiles and through very narrow gates! Interesting for the the tour of Painswick secret paths and famous church yard if nothing else! Distance estimate was slightly economical, I clocked 6.7 km on the Garmin! In short: How much fun is it possible to put into excruciating climbs?!?!? In full: This race was opened to all after being run as a club-only race last year. Very friendly atmosphere but a tough race for just 4 miles! One climb seemed to go on forever. Views fro the top are breathtaking though... now, if only I'd had any breath left...
