In short: great race
In full: This was my first 10km race after just having done 5km race for life runs in the past. love visiting Longleat so it was a great place to start my 10km running career! Got a PB!!!(and a medal) The hills were a bit vicious and the dogs were a pain but other than that a great run. The portaloos were grim!!

In short: Great scenery and a good atmosphere - good for all standards though you won't get a PB on those hills!

In short: Too expensive at £15 (for a 10K!), but a good challenging race, having to run a monster hill twice, plus one smaller one.

In short: This was only our third event (my partner who suffers from arthritis found the hills very tough) but we were cheered all the way to the finish and made to feel as important as the race winner, What a fantastic crowd and fellow runners.

In short: Undulating is the understatement of all time. The hills are "challenging" - especially the third one.

In short: Fast becoming one of my favourite events.
In full: Despite coming so early in the year, when my fitness is still wanting, this is now one of my favourite races. A beautiful setting and a good entry, and the weather has been ideal for the past 2 years. Not the place for a PB and the hills do require a tactical approach (funny how the first one hurt the most! It didn't seem half as bad second time around). Must start training sooner next year and watch what I eat over Christmas! Special thanks to the young girl who shouted out "Come On number 39" after 7k. This was really nice as there were not that many supporters on the day.

In short: Challenging hilly run, well worth entering
In full: As this was only my 3rd 10K I was worried that I might be out of my depth but I was pleased to see that there were runners of all levels. There didn't seem to be much atmosphere or am I just unsociable? Not much encouragement around the course or at the finish line. (apart from the bloke on the tannoy. I was going as fast as I could !)I didn't like the fact that there were several owners running with dogs. I kept looking over my shoulder when they were around. (I am frightened of dogs) Overall a well organised event. Obviously very hilly (I knew there was one hill at 1K and 7K but nobody mentioned the other one that seemed to stretch for miles!). I'll be back next year.
