In short: Good way to get New year weight off!
In full: Small and well-formed. Its pretty flat and has some running on marshalled roads. Last half is virtually all along canal towpath which is too narrow for more than two abreast.
Nice start/finish area. Good PB potential if you keep ahead of the crowds in the first 2km

In short: Another cracker from Mike & his team.
In full: So far I`ve run three 2.09 events races & this is another cracker. Nice planned route. Even having wet feet just before the 1st mile marker didn`t damper this race. Mind you water & mud everywhere does normally mean you have just ran a 2.09 event :) Well done - can`t wait till the next one.

In short: Extremely well organised, and a good laugh
In full: Don't expect any tremendous times, but all the runners and marshalling staff seemed to be there to have fun. Which is what its all about.

In short: This was a good run for a first timer to the event. Very well organised and the, marshalls were greatp.
In full: This was a much wetter/muddier course than I've run before but once you gave into it, it was really good fun - was just v. grateful that the heavy rain held off. A bit frustrating in places having to go single file but overall I really enjoyed it.

In short: Fantastic organisation and a muddy, fun race
In full: The organisation was brilliant, I would definitely do another 2:09 event. All the marshalls were great too, and I found the course itself really enjoyable. The puddles and mud were more than I've had on a run before, but it was great fun! The goodies at the end were brilliant too, a medal after crossing the line and then help-yourself selections of milkshakes, water, oat bars and proper energy gels. Also getting an official print-out of your time just seconds after crossing the line was an added bonus. You can't ask for more! A huge thanks to all the officials involved. I would definitely do this again.
