In short: What a great event - loved it
In full: A lovely event well organised and very friendly. I have only ever done big city marathons before - but I enjoyed this event more than any of them. Friendly runners, lots of marshals lots of drinks stations well informed supporters who were very encouraging and friendly. One of my most enjoyable events. Thanks to all who were there. This event is a credit to the club who run it. Thanks very much.

In short: Hills great race
In full: Hard course but who cares when its organised so well felt like there were more marshals(who were perfect) than runners. the peleton of cyclists full of encouragement was class as well they mustve done 59 miles at least.

In short: A good mix of hills and some flat running too, well organized and supported!
In full: What a great course! Scenery was worth travelling for, the decent weather helped too. Loads of supporters/water stations and marshalls. the goodie bag was nicely stocked with treats too :)

In full: Brilliant well organised run. Some very steep hills that seemed to go on for ever but stunning scenery. Everyone was very friendly and the support was great. Lots of jelly babies and jaffa cakes. Nice medal and proper sponsored running shirt at the end. Also a hot free cornish pastie and a cup of tea. What more could you want. Definitely be back next year.

In short: This was a tough race that gives a real sense of achievement when you finish
In full: ECH and the people from Pensilva and surrounding area should be proud of such a fab event. Support on the course in some of the remotest places was amazing, water stations brilliant - kids spotting your number and getting your personal energy drink ready for you - well done. As you tire at around 15 miles you get a real boost at Jamaica Inn before the more sedate 6 miles following the river Fowey. Crowds at Golitha really made up for all the aches and pains before the last 4 miles which are tough. Predominantly club runners but I was still made to feel really welcome. Excellent T shirt and goody bag. You also get a medal and the bonus was cup of tea and pasty at the end. Value for money - superb! Excellent organisation and a nice one to finish the season for a well earned break before Brown Willy on New Years Day.
