In short: Tough but very enjoyable
In full: I ran this as my first half marathon and would recommend it to novices and experienced runners alike. It is not nearly as difficult as previous comments would have you believe, although basic hill training is essential. Sharing a small portion of the route with traffic was disappointing but overlal was an excellent race. I will definitely be back next year.

In short: Still going uphill at 8miles
In full: Horendous weather- gale force wind and rain. It was difficult to get above walking pace on long seafront run in. One hill goes on for about 2-3 miles!
It took me three hours to get out of Hastings after race.

In short: PB Course if you train on hills
In full: Well worth doing but there is a hill that goes on for about 5 miles and starts just after the start. Once it over it pace can be picked up
