In short: AWESOME!!!
In full: Bring on them hills! What goes up, must come down... usually into a head wind along the seafront!

In short: excellent support from all who took part and the support from the public along the route was second to none
In full: Very good organisation from the promoters, prompt start and plenty of encouregement from all the public supporters along the majority of the route.
The only crticism is the officials at the end of the run were a little impatient with those who were not displaying there race number,
Some people had put on an extra layer towards the end and had covered the official race number and what i could see were being physically dragged off the race line.
This was dissapointing for those this happened to.

In short: My favourite half marathon
In full: The hills get easier year on year.....I just hope this event doesn't get too big! It took me over 2 mins to cross the start line this year and my first 2 miles were frustratingly slow.

In short: Probably the best Half Marathon in the world.
In full: This was my 12th trip to Hastings, the only half marathon to give me a PB despite the first 5 miles of ascent! Glorious venue, support along the way to match the FLM (well done the senior citizens with your pots and pans!), sea air, superb views and oh yes excellentt fish and chips!

In short: First time at Hastings, excellent atmosphere and organisation, was a bit worried about what I had heard about hills, especially as I had just run the Malta marathon 2 weeks previous, but nothing to worry about,in fact I didn't even notice them.

In short: Fantastic atomsphere - nightmare hills for a first half marathon!
In full: Walking at mile 3/4 was a bit worrying to me as it was my first half marathon but the crowds played their part and got me going again and managed to run without walking after mile 5/6 - despite the wind along the seafront! A really good day out.

In short: Much better than I feared!
In full: Only my second race (first being the Brighton half three weeks ago). Comments here had me scared of the hills, but just settled into easy pace and kept going--not bad. Loved the noisy crowds at the top. Last two miles into wind with dead legs v. hard.
