In short: Absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Lovely community feeling to it and welcoming
In full: Would definetely recommend it to hills and scenic views lovers. Hardly any asphalt, but countryside and forest tracks...FABULOUS!

In short: Very scenic low-key local race, but attrected some fast runners this year!
In full: Very scenic route and fun to run with a very friendly atmosphere. All four of the top runners beat the previous fastest time so a bit of local pot-hunting going on for the meal for two first prize I think! The winners sub 59 time is going to stand as a course record for a very long time!
The scenic, very well signed, course also gave a very good indication of how the other half live - we even passed one private house with it's own moat!
Must remember to bring some sarnies and a flask for next year, as there was nowhere to get refreshments after, but should have thought of this myself given the size of the race!
Well done and thanks to Mike and his team for putting this one on.

In short: Great race with some tough hills
In full: First time doing the race. I found some of the hills challenging (steep!!) but then not keen on them personally. Lovely scenery and views made up for the hilly bits. Marshalls were good, organisation slick. Friendly race which I enjoyed even though I finished not far off the back.

In short: A small, well organised event with good course marking, happy marshalls and well placed water stations. A flat and hilly multiterrain - with all the trimmings, does what it says on the tin. Well done! We will be back next year.

In short: Thank you for a lovely race - I tried this with no proper training and jogged around with the last place marshall, a pleasure to run with him and all the other marshalls were great. Thank you for making my sunday morning very enjoyable. Welldone!
