In short: Very easy simple and enjoyable race course.
In full: This is a good course. Flat, simple, wide roads, no hills and good water stations. Friendly, easy to get to and nice stewards. I enjoyed it.

Not challenging which is a nice change but all will enjoy it. Good variety of runners.

Sadly no goody bags or medals, just water & bananas at the end, but it's cheap so who cares?

A good fun race well managed.

In short: An excellent, well-organsied race and the series is good for measuring training progress
In full: However, as with many races, the organisers could usefully a) use a powerful megaphone seeings as folk refuse to shut up and listen to race instructions; b)tell racers to put themselves in the right place at the start (why do slower starters insist on placing themselves right on the line and slowing everything up at the start?); and c) perhaps have more signage to encourage park users to show a little consideration when crossing through the race.

In short: A wonderful 10k series to use as training races in particular
In full: I've done four 10K's so far with Mornington Chasers - everyone's very friendly, especially the race organizer Maurice who has always been very understanding if I've had to reschedule to another month due to illness or another conflict. Low-pressure atmosphere but serious enough to have a strong, focused run and hopefully hit a PB! They're great races to use as training runs leading up to a larger event, or simply to track your progress. I'll be doing the one in early March.
