In short: Start information majorly lacking, and timing slightly questionable as not recorded until half way down the channel after the finish

In short: Very fast pace, but very cold condiitions
In full: It was freezing cold, and the pace was very fast. Very hard to hold back in the early stages and paid towards the latter stages.

In short: No frills but well organised when you found it.
In full: Very well organised race when on course, HQ a little far away and ticky to find for an out of towner. Lovely course, flatish (would be fantastic in summer!) Absolutely freezing day. Momento and cup of tea at end would make a special race for little extra outlay. Overall good day and great time for a race, on a Saturday and in the afternoon. Well done MKAC.

In short: Fast & Flat (no rain and no wind this year -hurrah)
In full: This is a good race if you want a 5mile PB. If the weather holds which it did this time then its a fast course. Still dont understand why its not chip to chip? It takes a while to cross the line so you have to time yourself if you want to be 100% accurate.

In short: A PB course with lots of faster runners
In full: This is a no frills race which has fortunately upgraded to chip timing. The start is a bit crowded, but everyone still went off too fast. However, this race is made for a PB, which I duly achieved, owing to lots of faster runners turning up and feeling I was in a race instead of a time trial for a change.
