In short: + Got a great PBCould have been so much more.....disappointed
In full: Very disappointed with organisation & marshalls. I'm not quickest of runners, but towards end marshalls had gone. Thankfully remembered which paths to run down.

In short: What no medal?
In full: Have run this race before and received a mug as a memento but to receive nothing at the end was a little depressing. And I mean nothing: no medal, no "well done", no chip timing, no warm hall with award presentations nearby. This is a fast course for club runners who just want to get out there and get their times. Fair enough, I personally prefer a bit more atmosphere. On the plus side, the results were published very quickly.

In short: Proper race - no frills
In full: Bit cold this year! Proper runners race, no goody bag nonsense, just a bottle of water. Went off too fast again - might learn my lesson next year!

In short: A fast course, very cold but the finish was a bit of an anti-climax.
In full: A race that I have done before and we normally bring a few runners from our club. A race clock at the finish would be a good improvement as runners before me asked me what time I had run it in as I happened to be wearing a watch! Not too bothered about a medal but just a bottle of cold water that you helped yourself to was all you got! Saying that, the entry fee was pretty reasonable and nice to get a decent 5 mile time before the end of the year. I'll probably be back!

In short: Well organised, good vibe
In full: Enjoyed this despite the cold and biting wind. Fairly flat course around Lake Willen helps fast times. Good organisation and friendly runners. Thanks to marshals/volunteers/organisers:

In short: No Thrills, No Atmosphere and No Medal!
In full: The finish was a real anti-climax with no medal!

Don't get much for your money and Marshalls really need to do better. Chip timing and something to show for the race would be nice.

Marshalls club website is very poor with no race information at all.

I would expect a big club like this to do better. This is the 3rd time I've done this race and the organisation has declined each time. I won't be coming back :(
