In short: Well done to the marshals. Excellent. Toilet facilities and the narrow start may need some attention.

In short: Third year of doing this and very good as before
In full: Agree with with general consensus. Well organised, very well marshalled, start and first half mile cramped but otherwise enjoyable, but please can we have full chip timing like last year..

In short: Excellently organised; level course with many twists and turns.
In full: Good atmosphere, plenty of marshals, St John's obviously in attendance, no map that I found/received, but it wasn't necessary, given the guidance of the ever-present marshals. I'd be pleased to go back, knowing the course next time.

In short: First timer at Fred Hughes
In full: Please publish chip times next year. Makes the tide of humanity at the start seem less significant!

Will have another go next year for the reason that I didn't do myself justice (a lazy 1:20).

Many thanks for the terrific organisation

In short: A superbly organised fast race.
In full: This was a very enjoyable race (helped by near perfect conditions). Marshalling was excellent and the course was very fast.
The Tea and cakes afterwards also went down very well.
A great race to start the year off with.

In short: Fun, twisty, competitive and busy race.
In full: My second time here and still good fun. Although it's almost all flat, there are plenty of right angled turns and puddled paths to keep your wits about you. I'm nearer the back so am never bothered by the jostling at the front but the path is narrow at the beginning. It wasn't obvious where the start was or how to get there from the school. Excellent friendly marshalls and nice medal at the end. Parking is decent - just turn up early and there were a fraction more toliets than last year but I still saw long long queues. I'll be back!

In short: Well organised.
In full: Good weather, very flat course and so can achieve good time. Don't understand why it has to be so cramped at the start. Suggest alternative start position rather than narrow lane. Would have been nice to have had fruit or fruit drink at the end.
