In short: A fine alternative to Abingdon et al for a late year M
In full: Very friendly, great marshalling; a good and mostly rural, scenic course. The 3 lap template works extremely well if you are marathon fit though I doubt there's pb potential due to the degree of hill climbing. Great fun.

In short: Not a big city marathon, but a well organised event on a challenging course
In full: Well worth the entry fee, no frills, but a well organised race. A 3 lap course, so you know what to expect after the first lap, although "that" hill at 5.5, 13.5 and 21.5 is a killer the last time round. Recommend for first timers but make sure you do some inclines in your training plan.

In short: Possibly the best organised event I've run in. Course was mentally and physically challenging.
In full: Event passed off like clockwork. Very well done to organisers. Protracted climb between miles 3-6. (Worse than shorter, steeper climbs.)Mentally very hard to cross the finish line (after 17 miles)to start the last lap.

In short: Top marks to organisers
In full: Great organisation. Three lap course was much more interesting than expected. Suited me perfectly and managed 35 minutes of last marathon (buit that was Snowdonia). Will certainly return due to excellent value and good organisation.

In short: Tough but friendly. Worthwhile.
In full: This was my fifth visit to the Luton marathon. I find the three laps challenging. It is quite a challenging course with a number of hills - three times over! It is very well organised and friendly. It has taken me a number of attempts to learn how to run rhis course. However the past two years of the race have been quite happy for me. A couple of my earlier runs here were very trying. Over the years I have come to like the race and I would certainly recommend it.
