In short: Cold but loved it.
In full: Marshalling was excellent, I found the cheery waves and encouraging comments really helped me dig in at the tougher sections... I agree with the comments about the distance markers... i wondered what on earth had happened to my pace at the end! I was a bit apprehensive about turning up and entering on my own but I needn't have been, I thoroughly enjoyed the day and best of all I smashed my PB!

In short: 2nd year for my on the doorstep race... will be back next year
In full: Another brilliant race in my home town on a course I run 3 times a week. Again well organised (number allocation as speedy as ever) and a good home crowd.
Well marshalled with additional support on the busy traffic junctions.
Only one issue, and the organisers have already apologised, the 9km marker was placed around the 9.5km mark. This sent panic into me that I 1. had further to go 2. was unfitter than I thought 3. I would never get a sub 45 and 4. I'd have to run up a hill.
Other than that a well organised enjoyable race on a great course

In short: Fun
In full: First did this race 7 years ago, and for the first time for some reason I realised what a great job the marshalls do. I was well aware of just how many are out on route on all the major spots and do a great job to see us through safely. And this has always been the case everytine I've done this race.
Great job 26.2 once more.

In short: Cold day - warm friendly atmosphere
In full: Well done marshalls and spectators for standing out in -2C temp, made their encouragement all the more apprciated. Distance from 9km to '400m to go' markers made me feel like a super athelete - thanks.

In short: Great marshalling, friendly atmosphere
In full: On a very cold morning, the marshalls did a fantastic job. The "bag room" team must also be mentioned - they did their best to get the runners to leave their bags in sufficient time.
Only thing to improve is the announcements - couldn't hear any of them!! However, this is definitely one to add to the race calnedar. Thank you all.

In short: Worth braving the cold for!
In full: A really well organised race with great indoor facilities for before and afterwards. The marshalls coped valiantly with the cold and the traffic, and the whole process ran like clockwork. I've been doing this event for the past few years and hope to be back next February. It's true that the pace markers were a bit confusing and didn't match up with my Garmin but that is a minor point - I still got a PB!

In short: Cold, but at least the rain stopped!
In full: First time for me on this race, and I was very impressed - the marshalls did an excellent job throughout, especially those having to hold up traffic from the various side roads. My only issue, as others have mentioned is the 8 and 9k markers being out, I did wonder what had happened to my pace when I hit the 8 sign!

In short: Great organisation of a very good race
In full: This was my first V10k and I was very impressed on the whole. The start/finish area was well organised, the marshalling and encouragement was spot on despite the really cold temperatures and the race itself was a good one even if, as already mentioned, the km markers were out (especially the last couple).

Around 7km it's a bit tough with a steady incline but overall it's definitely got potential for a PB. I'll be back next year.
