In short: Well-organised, great marshalls and water/gel stations, in lovely countryside, with a fantastic goody bag. I really enjoyed this race.

In short: Some surprising hills but the skylarks were singing!
In full: Good views(though in blustery weather it could feel very exposed in places)and the second half contained some annoying hills - Bennetts Hill at the 12 mile mark was aptly named the sting in the tail!

Really well organised, great value for money, very picturesque and Sunshine was on order.

In short: My perfect half
In full: I'd repeat all the comments made by other reviewers about the achievement of the organisers in making this such a special race at the first time of asking. Whoever thought of using the route for a race also deserves credit - I loved it.

In terms of the difficulty, I think it's one of those courses where, if you're feeling strong and running well, you might not see it as tough at all. But if you're not feeling so good and have under-trained (as I was), there seem to be far more ups than downs. I'm not sure a pb is out of the question.

In short: Great race, well organised and with terrific scenery and a good atmosphere
In full: Small friendly race, lots of local support. Perhaps could have done with one extra water station half way as it was a hot day. Thanks for a great race, I managed a pb despite the hills!

In short: Pleasant rural run, with some undulations
In full: A very well organised first time event.
The parking areas were quite varied, but not too far to the School facilities (HQ), and then to the race start.
Route was pleasant along quiet country roads, with some good local support.
It was a nice change to have the option of cups of water, bottled water, and even gels at each of the 3 drinks stations, so thanks for that.
Incredibly fast full results available also.
All in all, a very good Half, and deserves to be bigger in future, given how well it was organised.
