In short: Very friendly and enjoyable 10k
In full: First time I have run in Bushy Park and I will be back! Small number of people, but quickly got left at the back on a 01:03:30 PB! Still felt like I was running a race though - and thoroughly enjoyed! It is challenging as there is not the support on route of the big races, although scenery helps you focus!

In short: Very good but 2k/7k markers incorrectly positioned - about 0.5k out.
In full: Generally good but for a couple of niggles including a water station at the half-way which included bottles of water on the ground without anybody to hand them out (although there was cups of water being handed out about 30m up). Would've been good to have more km markers out there, correctly positioned as well. Otherwise JPR Williams (ex-Wales rugby pro) was on hand to give out the medals and t-shirts (nice touch) and well worth the £10 entry fee.

In short: Flat, fast, low key race in a very scenic location
In full: I really enjoyed this race. I do a lot of fitness work in Bushy Park and love the way it's very flat and very scenic. Only 120 or so runners made it quite a small race. The marshalls at the mid point and finish were very friendly and encouraging but the others around the course could have done with cheering up a bit!
My advice for next time would be to clearly indicate the finish line as I wasn't sure when to stop at the end.
Overall though, a really nice run out.

In short: beautiful location, enjoyable and low key
In full: Nicely low key. JPR Williams to give out medals was a nice surprise. Looking for a PB, but found myself running alone from 2 K until 9.5 K, I guess lower numbers mean more space. Plenty of car parking etc.

In short: Good race, beautiful scenery, organisers looked after us
In full: Although I hadn't done a race for four years, I really enjoyed this morning's run.

Good points - flat, small/friendly event, water at half-way, t-shirt/medal at end, results online within hours, toilets were fine (unlike reviews from last race)

Areas to improve - KM markers (I calculated the 2km marker was at 1.3km and the 7km at 6.3km!), start time wasn't widely communicated, car park address posted online was incorrect, water could have been on a table rather than the floor (I was tired and struggled to bend down!)

In short: Enjoyable, low enrty race with mostly fun runners. 2 lap course in the park, completely flat on dirt tracks and grass.
In full: I haven't run in a 10K with so few entrants, but it was well organised, with marshalls to guide you at the path junctions and water at half way. Medal and t-shirt at the end. With the weather so fine, the grass was dry, but most of the run was on dirt tracks which were a little more hard work than tarmac. With so few entrants, supporters were fairly non-existant, but the stags were bellowing at us as we ran past! Scenic park setting, which meant that two laps wasn't tedious. I just wish I'd packed a picnic. Being local and with a playground nearby for the kids, I think I'd do this again next year.
