In short: Good effort, could try harder. In full: Second time here for me, and all in all a pretty good race. The best pre-race info pack ive received in a very long time. The car park was somewhat further away from the start this year which was a bit of a pain, the other car park they gave us the option of using was 2.5m away!
Lots of shouts from marshalls saying 'keep left or you will be disqualified' at the begininng. Im not sure about that.... if they start the race on such narrow roads then do they expect people to be only two abreast? No i dont think so.
Saw lots of people with commemorative souvenir tumblers, sadly I had to make do with the crappy t-shirt.
Offered good views of the Hemel Hempstead oil fire. Date of review: December 15, 2005
