In short: Very Hard but Great Fun - Really nice bunch of folks
In full: Great event, but very tough if you have just been training on the roads like me - but it has given me a great marker for what I need to do for my forthcoming plods around Paris & Edingburgh - Special thanks to Angie (I think)who came came back onto to the course to see me safely across the line ...

In short: A wonderful race great views well orgainsed.
In full: I really enjoyed this race, fantastic views of the forest. Deer,Donkeys, horses etc.. 2 hills at 4 and 10 miles, but weren't too bad. I have to say that if the weather was wet this would be a very tough course indeed. Only 2 minor moans, car parking was a bit of a nightmare and it would have been good to have some changing areas or tents. But apart from that it was well orgainised and friendly. I will do this again no problem at all.Now I know the course I would be quicker next time.

In short: Loved it!
In full: Lovely race and not as bad as the name suggested! Started my morning pushing my friends car out of the mud with the help of some friendly men!! The views were fab and, as a local, I gained a really good new route. My only problem is with the price. I was encouraged to enter on the day and ended up paying a whopping £17! Not sure I will ever do anything with the certificate so not really worth queuing for. The soup was lovely and most welcome, spicy and tasty, warm rolls too - yum!
See you all next year.
