In short: Fast traffic free course. In full: Very lucky to be traffic free roads or this race would likely have had to be cancelled due to thick fog. This is a definite PB course with decent facilities at the start and finish. Sincerely hope the West Lindsey Series is continued next year too. Well done organisers. Date of review: October 23, 2012

In short: One of the best P.B courses in the Country. In full:
The Start & Finish at the Leisure Centre with its fabulous facilities is first class.Extremely well marshalled. Nice to see the km markers in this race which helps most runners but especially beginners. This course has great P.B potential and is totally traffic free. The only gripe I had was the omission of our Club name on the results sheet (they may have been 'late-entries' but in this day & age of IT, this shouldn' be a problem to include in future. Overall, the fact that our Club had 50+ entries shows it is a race well worth supporting.

In short: Well worth the trip In full: 2nd year I have ran this and all went very smooth. Bit of a hill at the end but most ran faster than Saxilby 5K 3 weeks ago. Great to be traffic free especially in the misty conditions. Great facilities showers etc. Hope the series is on next year. Date of review: October 22, 2012

In short: Great for first timers or club runners In full: Excellent small race. Would definitely do again or one/all of the others in the series. No frills - just a Bottle of water but quality medal at the end. Nice to be able to run traffic free & good marshaling. Particularly liked the Leisure centre start/finish for toilets, changing etc and keeping warm before the start. Date of review: October 21, 2012

In short: An enjoyable 5K race - part of a very good series including Saxilby and Market Rasen In full: A very enjoyable 5k, which I ran with my daughter who was the youngest entrant - we even got a tannoy mention at the finish! This is a mildly undulating run with a slope to finish and includes a good mix of affiliated and unaffiliated runners. The locals come out to support, which is helpful, however, some aren't happy at road closures which is tough luck! Goody bags are included for completers of all three races, so there is not much more than a medal and drink for individual finishers, but this is fair enough. Organisation is generally very good. Would like to think that my daughter will ultimately get a goody bag, although she is not old enough to qualify for the 10K - we'll see. Enjoyed the races so far; this is my second year of entering the series. Date of review: October 21, 2012
