In short: A great race around country lanes, would recommend.
In full: A lovely loop around the beautiful Wiltshire countryside on quite country lanes. A really nice race that was well marshalled so you couldn’t get lost! Toilets, two water stations, and free parking. Nice and fast, good for a PB.

In short: Great course. Fast and almost flat. Well organised race. Recommended.
In full: The crowded race calendar in September in Wiltshire must have caused the small field. But a great road race.

In short: Room for more at the back!
In full: decent race, well organised, especially as it was the first running. Got a little bit "buzzed" by traffic at the back - inconsiderate motorists who treat Wiltshire's country roads as a racetrack. be good to have some more slower runners so there's safety in numbers!!

In short: Good potential for a PB but lousy weather on the day
In full: Terrible weather for the race, rain, wind and cold too. It was not so bad with the wind until you hit the 6 mile mark and ran into it all the way back with the last 800mtrs a real struggle so fair play to those sub 1hr runners. With good weather this is a PB course.

Most of the run was through country roads so not so many cars about.

Lots of parking and easy to find.
Down side, no toilets, real issue. I was really dissapointed with the momento at the end too, it was a plastic coaster. The weather was a major factor on feeling flat at the end but the goodies really added to feeling as well.

In short: Well done - a good event for a first time promotion and a nice useful drinks mat in place of the usual medal

In short: A good first running of this event.
In full: A good event and a good course, well marshalled and well organised. Finish was a bit slippy so could be improved a little. A few inconsiderate drivers on the course, might have benefited from some more Runners In Road signs. Plan to be back next year.
