In short: A great event, fab 9 miler through great countryside
In full: I did this event for the first time last year, enjoyed it so much I came back for more! It's a great run to on a Sunday morning. Well organised, friendly marshalls, love the massage before and after! Minor niggle was the start, surely there's a better way to line up? But that's just a minor prob, overall I congratulate the event organisers. Well done! I'll be back next year!

In full: Overall I really liked this race.Scenery was great & marshalls friendly.Having done it last year I was more prepared for the big hill around 8 miles but was surprised about the field bit at the end.It gave me the chance for a final sprint though.10 mins faster than last year even though it was much hotter.Negatives were ...conjestion at the start, more water stations needed near the end , persistant phlegm cougher upper behind me and no goody bag . Apart from that it was great.

In short: Marshalls were excellent and very supportive. Thank you.
In full: The hosepipes were most welcome on such a hot day. I really enjoyed the run and will definitely be back next year!

In short: Great run atmosphere at the finish excellent
In full: Thanks to the pople who had hosepipes and water out. This run was as enjoyable as last year. I did the Edingburgh marathon and did this run to test my fitness and I was extremely happy with my time and Finish place as i was only a minute slower than last year. I also coped with the hill at 8 1/2 mile better. I will definately do this again next year.

In short: Great day, good race!
In full: Great day and a lovely course. Could be a very fast race given the right weather conditions, but this year it was roasting hot!!

Didn't see an 8 mile marker, and could have done with an extra water station.

Nice medal, but disappointed that the goody bag was literally an empty carrier bag!!

In short: Lovely course on a hot day. Excellent marshalls. Megaphone needed at start -- which wasn't great.
In full: Really lovely course. The marshalls were great (though I question the appropriateness of one smoking). Yucky hill at the end, made a bit worse by the absence of the 8 mile marker. Worst bit was that I was willing myself up the hill in anticipation of the 'best goodie bag ever' according to 2008 reviews. . . . Where was that?

In short: Beautiful and brilliant!
In full: My first time here and really enjoyed it. The weather was great, the countryside looked amazing and the marshals were very helpful. Given the hot weather, another water station near mid-way would have been a godsend, and filing people along the lane at the start would have made for a smoother getaway. Only tiny niggles though, this one is definitely on my race calendar now!
