In short: Snow, mud and hills. Great fun.
In full: Don't be put off. It was my first half marathon for about 20 years and my friends first ever. Not easy but loads of fun. Give it a go. I'll be back.

In short: Fantastic as usual - mud, ice cold puddles, hills and glorious views
In full: This was my fourth attempt at the Leith Hill half, and it was muddier than ever! Very challenging course, icy temperatures (especially at the top), freezing knee-deep puddles, brilliant atmosphere with supportive runners and marshals. A perfect event if you enjoy a tough race that is perfectly organised and welcoming to all. A big thanks to Dr Rob and to the marshals who braved the weather to make the race so good.

In short: Freindly atmosphere, tough running, beautiful scenery
In full: No matter what the conditions these Trionium runs are addictive, a big thankyou to all the marshals

In short: Winter Wonderland
In full: After a thoroughly enjoyable New Years Day Knacker Cracker 10k, I couldn't wait to try out another Trionium event. I chose this event as part of my Comrades Marathon 'up run' training.

Even the weather could not dampen this event. It was, quite simply, awesome from start to finish.

In short: Still sore!
In full: Excellent race. Great scenery, extremely well organised and a superb cohort of runners. I throughly enjoyed myself despite still feeling a little sore two days later. Only one cure for it...get out there and run again.

In short: Snow, ice on the puddles, vertical climbs and jaffa cakes on the finish line - bring it on
In full: This is the highlight of the racing year. It's tough and you'll never do a PB for the distance on the course. Had the honour of seeing the course record broken this year by a young Welsh lad. Smiling and flying - just the way that I wasn't when I got to the same place 15 minutes behind him.

This is a race that will turn any road runner into a hard-core trail runner. Fantastic fun.
