In short: Not as flat as I'd hoped but very well-organised

In short: Well organised, marshalls were great. Good mix of flat and undulating.
In full: Thanks to Abbey Runners for a really good race. The marshalls were excellent - very chirpy and really kept you going in the not so flat bits!

In short: Tougher than I anticipated
In full: But a really good course. Very scenic and the inclines were never too much but I did expect it to be a bit flatter. No matter, I'll be more prepared for next year. Good finish...funny how an inflatable arch makes it feel like an real event! Great support from marshals, plenty of water around the course and at the end and useful rucksack that will actually get used!

In short: Some long hills but still quick in places.
In full: Great turn out this year (around 700 apparently) so took a while for the field to thin out.

A bit wet and muddy round the reservoir section - which was fun - cracking support from marshals and crowds gathered at the end.

Just that hill to deal with just before the finish - cruel!

Really liked the back-pack give away too!

In short: Thoroughly enjoyable race
In full: I enjoyed this race. It was a good route which left me feeling satisfied. Undulating but not overly hilly. Nice touch with the souvenior rucksack. Big thanks to the organisers.

In short: Harder than I remembered!
In full: Very well organised & well marshalled race. The route is undulating with quite a tough final third. Nice souvenir. Plenty of water stops which were needed today! Thanks to Abbey Runners.
