In short: Glad I did it.
In full: Yes it was expensive, but early entry iaded this. When you consider the cost of constructing the obstacles maybe it wasn't over-priced. When a goody bag is promised then that's what people expect - need to get a range of freebies in the bags rather than localised leaflets. Charging for car-parking at races is a bug-bear of mine if parking is going to cost add it to the entry fee - that eases marchalls duties on the day.
Overall I'm glad that I did it I feel that I conquered the course as it was on the day - will I be back - yet to be decided as it does need a long weekend to make it worthwhile.

In short: Good fun but too expensive
In full: I did this race with friends and it was good fun, lots of good and challenging obstacles and the marshalling was great.

The cost was very high and runners didn't get much for the money, banannas, sports drinks and space blankets would have been very welcome. I also think hot showers should be provided for such a steep entry fee.

Think this event would be transformed by good weather, but not something that can be relied upon in good old Blighty!

In short: Total Warrior will get much better next year. i did the 10k
In full: If you booked early enough then it was worth the £40 entry but might be a bit steep if you left it until the last few months. Tough course with some great obstacles, but some could have been better, im sure total warrior will listen to the feedback as it was only it's first year. well done on an excellent race

In short: Expensive for what you get but a good course and event.
In full: A large amount of money for a run. I expected more and not a 3 mile+ run up the hills without any obstacles. I have run trail half and full marathons and didn't enter to do similar, I would rather have done the 10k. The obstacles where good and challenging but I keep thinking of the cost.
Way too expensive for what is delivered. Would I do it again? Yes if the price dropped by at least £20.

In short: Far too expensive for what was delivered.
In full: There are far better & tougher assault courses out there that cost much less money. Charging on top of extortionate entry fees for spectators to park in a muddy field was criminal. Running out of pre-race gear wasn't great either & the race packs were hopeless - absolutely no recovery drinks or bars - if it hadn't cost so much I wouldn't mind.
