In full: This was my first trail run -Brutal. This was harder than the Royal Parks Half marathon!!! Very pleased/suprised with the time as there were so many full on hills that I ended up walking up over half of them (training in Greenwich park is flat in comparision). Having said that I really enjoyed the challenge of the technical running on different surfaces,avoiding freezing puddles/super sticky mud and navigating different widths/types of paths all through a beautiful forest. Absolutely knackered at the end but big, big buzz.
