In short: Great morning out! Friendly and well organised.
In full: The finish was cruel, it was not clear you had to do the last hairpin, going past the finish and doubling back again, wasted time trying to work it out. BUT now I know and would ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY do it again next year.

In short: Muddy, cold! No km markers, which makes it harder for first timers

In short: I've never seen so much mud but much more fun than running on the road.
In full: Very friendly race. Choice of three distances made it ideal for training partners/friends of different abilities to run the same race.

In short: Mud pies anyone?
In full: Started the race with brand new running shoes - ended it with a couple of cow pats on my feet! It didn't stop me coming back for the 2nd round and I will be doing the 3rd as well.

A word of thanks to many of the fast 15k runners. Even on their third lap of the race they still had time to give a couple of words of encouragement as they sped past to a portly slowcoach doing the 10k - much appreciated!

In short: Great introduction to multi-terrain
In full: Really enjoyable and friendly event. Challenge choices to suit the runner. Course is beginner-friendly and a lot more fun than running on the roads.
