In short: Good scenic route, with some challenging climbs.
In full: This was a well organised race, plenty of information pre race day, so car parking problems could be avoided. Sectioned start which wound its way out of Watford quickly into the countryside. Route had some challenging climbs which made life interesting. Course was well marshalled and they provided some good support. A bottle of Taut and a T shirt at the end. OK value.

In short: Very good, well organised, surprisingly scenic, quite hilly
In full: My first half for a number of years and REALLY enjoyed it. Organisation was excellent, pre-race communication very good. Parking nearby OK, and facilities at the race HQ were fine.

Hills were a good challenge. Good finish in the park - plenty of room to stretch and cool down. And marshalls were friendly and helpful.

Highly recommended.

In short: Great events like this make it so rewarding being a runner - its worth all those cold, damp, dark training runs.
In full: Very pleasant course, and friendly but efficient feel to the whole occasion. Helped this year by ideal weather conditions.

In short: Good organisation. Pretty scenic once out of the town. Rural lanes etc. Undulating was a bit of an understatement for some of the hills, but all manageable, with a fast finish.

In short: Surprisingly scenic
In full: Advertised as hilly, but posted an unexpected PB, so perhaps it wasn't that bad. Great facilities at the start, if you can live without showers.

In short: Not as hilly as I thought!
In full: Some lovely scenery out of the town and the hills weren't as bad as I expected. Good marshalling and lots of support. Found the last 2 miles tough when it returns to the pavements. Finish is a bit confusing as I wasn't sure which arch was the finish. Although it's probably not a PB course it's very good training for a spring marathon.

In short: An excellet half-marathon, and as well-orgasied as ever. Weather conditions couldn't have been better. It is hilly, with the one at about 8 1/2 miles especially a pain, but still good nontheless. Great as part of April marathon training schedule.

In short: 1st half marathon - was great
In full: REally enjoyed this race. Was nearly last but wot fun we all had a the back! great encouragement from everyone running with us and some fab chats - perhaps effort would have been better placed in running rather than talking? Still "ran" all the way - my running pal and I and had a fab day out. Sponges were very welcome and a big thanx to all the staff - you were great.
