In short: Good organization and atmosphere. Good T-shirt. Nice undulating course - not flat as suggested on website/application form.

In short: Tough 10k course. Congestion needs to be sorted out
In full: I think that this year the organisation was taen over by Corsham Running Club (in previous years it's been the Rotary Club, I think.) Pre-race organisation was good right up to the start. Instead of starting on the road (as I'd done in previous years) I ended up back in the car park funnelling through a narrow entrance. Then it was crawl for the next km. My own fault for getting boxed in, but in previous years I've always managed to get onto the road.

Apart from that the race seemed to be as good as ever; well marshalled, great T-shirt, and fantastic weather. One water stop (ideally placed just before half-way) on a 10k seems enough.

In short: Another succesful race for Corsham Running Club and others
In full: Agree with the problems at the start, with so many entrants it did get a bit crammed.
The course is undulating nothing more than that. The weather was the biggest problem for most I would think. Being so hot (compared to the weather most would have trained in) would have made a huge difference. Another water stop was amust really in those conditions.
Overall another succesful running of a good local race!

In short: Very pleasant run, love the t-shirt!
In full: Very pleasant run this, but quite a challenging course so not really PB territory. In any case far too congested at the start and most of the way round to run at optimum pace.

It didn't help either that it was the first warm day of the year, and many of us were struggling in the heat (I know I was!) but nothing the organisers could do about that. Having said that, a water station at 4k and another at 8k would probably have been better. I was gasping for a drink at the end, and not just the alcoholic variety!

Very pleasant and friendly event, well marshalled and supported, plus the t-shirt was one of the best designs I've seen. Excellent value for moeny and if I'm not recovering from FLM will be back next year.

In short: A nice 10K, well marshalled, but congested start and finish slightly spoiled it for me.
In full: On the whole a lovely run. Generally well organised and lots of locals came out to cheer runners on. A very warm morning which made the 'inclines' feel harder! The start going through the gateway was very congested, made worse by cars on the road trying to get by - lost quite a bit of time here. The finish was similarly congested and the queue from the water station was backed up over the finish line making it very difficult for people to cross the finish line....people slamming into each other to try and stop dead. Perhaps the start could be moved out onto the road, and the water station at the end moved further away from the finish line. I also agree with another comment that an extra water station on route would have been welcome. Will definitely do again and all the young helpers handing out water and t-shirts did a great job.

In short: A little antiquated but in no way a bad thing, it just added to what was a nice event on a rather warm Sunday morning
In full: A well organised event, good spirited and I loved its quirkiness including the lovely older lady organinsing our baggage, the local characters running the race and a special mention to the girls serving bacon butties...all had smiles on thier faces. Nice course but perhaps next year the start could be moved a little further forward to avoid the funneling from the football car park and main road combined. Just one more water station would be welcomed.

In short: Nice race good facilities at the start
In full: Well organised run. The very warm conditions were welcome but some runners had problems in the heat!
Nice to have the marshalls cheerig and encouraging along with the crowd (thanks)Would have been even better if Lacock road was closed to traffic for the race duation even if only one way, it got a bit congested especially when an ambulance needed to get to the finish area.
