In short: My first "Fix" event. Overall no major issues. Very nice run (if a little warm), friendly and a nice medal.
In full: Appears to be organised by a very small team. Administration excellent. On the day organisation was generally pretty good. Could have done with a megafone to let everyone know what was going on. Fortunately I was in the first wave so could hear everything. Doing the Run Richmond event in October so will see then if my opinion changes. Otherwise nice run, scenic, great medal, very friendly. A tad too warm for a PB - or maybe I'm getting old!

In short: A lovely run out.
In full: Course was a good mix of gradients, and the field a good mix of levels. They were keen to get us under way, but I was waiting anyway. Cant help but think the timing was out, did anyone verify their time? (forgot my watch, but scored a good pb)

In short: Nice event not without its foibles
In full: Make no mistake, this is a good course that is worthy of a bigger field: very scenic and a refreshing change to some of the town runs on the calendar. However, some attention could be given to the following:

1. Baggage storage - for an event priced at £15 you would normally expect a secure baggage facility.

2. Running numbers - at first I liked the idea of the punched corners. But during the run I saw lots of paper lying on the ground. I ended up carrying mine and I saw another whisked away by a bird!

3. And most bizarrely- when has a race ever started 3 minutes before the scheduled start time? Chip timing or otherwise, I found that very strange. This could have denied a fast runner a place on the podium!

Overall though it was well worth the trip and I would certainly run it again

In short: Lovely race, albeit with a few issues
In full: The race itself was excellent. Lovely scenery, not too crowded, good encouragement. However, they actually started the race 5 minutes early which is very poor.

In short: They started early!
In full: I was already struggling with the organisation of this race before race day. I really enjoyed the scenary, and the weather was perfect running conditions. The route is great, it's lovely running through Richmond Park, and as not as undulating as I was expecting but the hills there were a great challenge. However, the biggest problem is that they didn't keep to time and started the race early. This was very frustrating as some people therefore missed the start including me! I also don't see the need for the staggered start. I think the organisers are trying to do a good job but they are focusing on the wrong aspects. Happy to provide comments to the race organisers.
