In full: Last minute decision well worth while. Both my partner and I did PB's, but all my other 10k's have been in the Surrey Hills around Dorking so am still waiting to do the flat benchmark! Would have been nicer to do a full circuit of the track with a smaller loop round.

In short: Enjoyable and interesting
In full: A romp through Sandown Park. Was interesting to go through the stables, parade green and the course itself. I didn't think it would be so tight in places, either having to follow runners or spinning round turning circles which will prevent great times on this race. I was a little confused about the length of course as it seemed to come up a little short of 10km but that might just be my Garmin. Overall, I enjoyed it, helped with the Running Show going on in the grounds!

In short: Definitely not flat! Surprisingly tough course but enjoyable regardless.
In full: Nice day out, these race course-based runs always seem to have good facilities. A goody bag with several gels and a nice enough medal at the end. I did enter expecting a flat course ("quick dash" I believe the blurb said) and it's certainly not that. But still a good run to do; then reward yourself in the main show with some new gear :p

In short: Excellent day out
In full: Really enjoyed this race. We have often come down to see the horse racing so it was fun to run through the stable yard and round the race course. I don't normally enjoy 10k races but this one was great.
